Estabrook Woods (Towns of Concord and Carlisle)

Harvard owns and manages approximately 650 acres of land in Estabrook Woods for research and teaching purposes. An additional 150+ acres of this land has been deeded in conservation restriction through a joint agreement between the Town of Concord and Harvard University.   The Concord Field Station falls under the administrative and scientific oversight of Harvard's Museum of Comparative Zoology. While the land is privately owned by Harvard and other Concord (and Carlisle) land owners, the parcels have been historically publicly accessible.

Harvard University is working with the Town of Concord Estabrook Woods Access Study Committee to understand impacts of current public access patterns.
