A cockatiel, *Nympicus hollandicus*, flying in the windtunnel at 9 m/s (~ 20 mph). We are currently studying how these birds maneuver in comparison to other species. Furthermore, we are testing whether heart rate can be used to estimate metabolic power output during flight.
